The Old Manor
The Old Manor is set within 2 acres of gardens.
The impressive carriage drive leads to the Manor the house is set in its own lawns, tennis court, large terrace, logia, vegetable garden, woods and stone paths.
Open the great oak doors at The Old Manor and enter the hallway with its Parquet floor and jacobean coat cupboard.
To the left is the large utility and boot room with two basins and a large range of glazed cupboards this leads onto a guest WC.
To your right is the welcoming snug with a huge ancient working fireplace, comfortable leather sofa and tartan armchairs.
The adjacent dining room has ample seating for 12 at the main table and a further 8 at the round table in the bay window. A further 6 can be seated at the kitchen table, or kitchen chairs can be brought through to the dining room. This is a grand and elegant room, ideal for family celebrations.

The large sunny drawing room has a polished parquet floor and working fireplace. The three large comfortable sofas, (one of which is a double sofa bed) plus armchairs enable the whole family to relax together.
There is a large TV with Freeview and Sky.
The large family kitchen overlooking the terrace has a flagstone floor and bespoke shaker style painted cupboards. It is equipped with an American fridge freezer, a four oven Aga ( off in summer), a large electric oven and induction Hobs. There are also two dishwashers, a expresso coffee machine, a pantry, a good selection of kitchen equipment and twin butlers sinks.
Up one of the two delightful staircases to the first floor you will find:
Bedroom 1 A twin/ double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and wash basin.
Bathroom 1 A large family bathroom with bath, large shower, stone floor and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3 A large sun filled room with double aspect windows, a brick fireplace, fitted cupboards and double/twin beds.
Bedroom 3 A pretty room overlooking the garden with vanity unit and double/ twin beds.
Bedroom 4 A double aspect room with luxury vi spring super king size handmade bed. The room has a dramatic Chinese screen and also fitted cupboards and a washbasin.
Bedroom 5 The Master Suite. Though the dressing room with its handmade bespoke cupboards to Bathroom 2.
Bathroom 2 Has a large shower and on the right the impressive Master bedroom with a bay window and antique stone fireplace and a large double four poster bed with a sofa at the foot. This room also has a fitted wardrobe and twin washbasins.
Bathroom 3 This is a family bathroom with double aspect stone windows, underfloor heating and a large bath.
Upstairs to the second floor
Bedroom 6 This is a pretty south facing bedroom with exposed beams, stone windows and fitted cupboards. There are two twin single beds.
Bathroom 4 Exposed beams and stone windows. It is equipped with a large double shower, a bath, washbasin, loo and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 7 A cosy single bedroom with exposed beams.
Bedroom 8 A large bedroom with exposed beams, fitted cupboards and washbasin. The beds can be arranged as two singles, two doubles or four singles.
Bedroom 9 This has two single or one double bed, a fitted cupboard and washbasin
Throughout the house there is central heating and high quality wool velvet carpets.
The games room is in a separate cottage within the garden. It has wood panelled walls and floor, and a log burner. There is a large table with stools, table football, air hockey, pool, table tennis, rounders set, unihoc hockey set, badminton set, backgammon, and big comfy armchairs.
We have installed hot tub outside a £75 one off charge applies for its use if required, otherwise it will be empty or locked.
The lavender fringed terrace has a relaxing lovely swing seat, a garden table and benches for 22 to dine together and a large charcoal BBQ.
There is also an outside wetroom and WC.
This fine old house is the ideal setting for a family celebration or any group holiday.
The property is also suitable for accommodating shoot parties. Catering can be arranged and there is a gunsafe in the house.
We can also provide activities such as clay shooting, archery, craft and dance classes. Further details on request.

PLEASE NOTE this property is not available all year round. Some of the unavailable dates are because of owners own use, and may change. Charge for use of the hot tub is £75.
